"Piece of junk"

We moved in a brand new home and been here going on 4 years and every year, the air conditioner freezes up and every year, coil and leak replace $536.00 every time. This year coil inside out and coil outside out and a leak. It's in warranty. $1,200 they said. They told us 3 times that labor is $96 an hour. Ok, that's fine, so if in warranty part should be free. So it takes 12 hours to put it in; that equals close to that amount. They said no, it's charges like shipping, and the people's time to order. He said that it's a lot of behind the scene that people don't understand. We are buying a new one and not from them.

I've been in my home not even 5 years and I have had my a coils replaced 3 times, fixing to be 4, at $500 every time. I think I should go into the a/c business. It is ridiculous, so you decide.

"Lousy techs"

Been trying for 10 months to get my outside unit fixed. I've had techs out 9 times in the past 10 months and they can't seem to find the leak in my outside unit even after I hired 2 other companies that found the leak at a cost of $435.00 together and 3 pounds of refrigerant added. I've even pointed out where the leak was. There useless techs have told me everything from I needed to cut another return in my brand new home to my a coil was bad. There techs would push the reset button when there detector would go off. There excuse was there refrigerant detector would go off if smoke or spider web got close to or on it and that there was no leak.

My home is 2 years old. We are having to replace our unit for the 2nd time in 3 months!! The labor warranty expires really fast so all we are left with is the parts warranty. We have already put 2500 into the ac and now we are doing it again!! Save yourself the pain and expensive costs and buy a good unit with a good warranty! The ac man said himself these units are junk and 90% of the work they do are on these!! Seems like since there's so many bad reviews for this we could all come together and get something done for being sold this crappy ac!!!!

"Freezes twice a day."

2.0 rating

We've had ours since January 2017, going on six months. Now that its summer, in Texas, it freezes at least twice per day! We are very hot natured and when one buys a new unit, we expect better. It has been fine up until 90 degrees outside. I was even pleased with the electric bill. But this turning it off and having just the fan run for an hour to defrost is just inconvenient.
