  • Quiet operation thanks to the continuous low-speed fan setting
  • High-quality ArmorTuf aluminized steel Duralok heat exchanger
  • Efficient and reliable operation with the SureLight control board
  • Minimized operation sounds due to the insulated blower compartment
  • Durable steel cabinet which is coated with high-quality textured paint

Energy Efficiency

Lennox Furnace Reviews

"Junk Furnace and Improperly Installed"

1.0 rating
Very Unsatisfied

Not happy: – 2 speed furnace shook whole house in first winter. – Same winter, 2 speed only works on high. – Humidifier connection from furnace stopped working had to have separate electrical outlet. – The contractor finally came out. I was told to take my supporting wall down so the house would not shake. Finally, by accident found problem. Installers had not connected one of the main hot air ducts going into the wall. Had to get someone else to do it. QUIETER, BUT STILL SHAKES HOUSE BECAUSE IT ONLY WORKS ON HIGH. – SO MUCH FOR WARRANTY AND QUALITY CARE PROGRAM. FIRST LENNOX 1976 – GREAT. SECOND 2003 – JUNK* NO MORE LENNOX!

"Premature part failure"

I had a new Lennox (G60 series) installed 18 months ago and have just had to have a flame sensor replaced. What happened to furnaces that you replaced and the only thing you had to do was change the filter every 3 months or so? Of course, when you call out a service technician he has to give you the whole “tune-up” treatment costing over $150. Why does a modern piece of equipment with no moving parts require a tune-up?

"Lennox Failure"

I have a 4 yr old g60 Lennox. !0 months ago the flame sensor failed and I had to pay a service call to get it replaced. I now have this same problem. I am now being told it fails because I have my laundry machines in the same basement area.I Live in mn and sometimes go south for a while. If furnace fails when I am gone, I have a real problem. I don’t think a 4 year old furnace should be having problems. I had 19 yr old Rheem that I replaced. Never a problem with that furnace.

"PROBLEMS"

1.0 rating
Very Unsatisfied

I had a Lennox g60 installed on 2/14/2010. It took 4 hours to raise the tempature 2 degrees. The fan starts and there is a bang sound on each phase. The fan sounds like a small jet engine and has a very high velocity. We have had 4 service calls to correct the problems. The last time the serviceman said we would have to adapt to the sound and the bang and told me I needed a new air conditioner and he could install it today 5/26/2010. I was in out of town in Springfield and asked him why would I buy a Lennox air conditioner when the furnace is not functioning and it wakes me up at 2am in the morning.

Other G60 Reviews

Another user on the HVAC forum opened up a discussion on the advantages of the Lennox G60 vs. another furnace. He decided to proceed with the Lennox as the comments on this unit were more favourable.
