Comfortmaker Heat Pump Reviews

"Problems with unit and resolution of problem"

1.0 rating
Very Unsatisfied

Had unit installed in May 2015 and have had problems since. Request by the installer in 2015 for a new unit was denied. The current request is in the hands of the district manager. Since 2015 we had problems with both the heat and the air conditioning. The unit froze in Nov. 2018 and had to use em heat all winter which was rather expensive. Air conditioning also does not work at all. Still waiting for a reply from the company. I am extremely disappointed, frustrated, and angry at this point.

"Heat exchanger fan kaput in 8 years."

1.0 rating
Very Unsatisfied

The heat exchanger fan broke in the 8th year. Never happened before on any type of furnace in that time. It is completely impossible to contact Comfortmaker. Tried to send an email, would never take install date, any date. No phone, no chat, no service whatsoever. Do not buy because of this. Looked up my model number on their website, unknown phrase. That is completely unacceptable. My installer, service retired.
