Why are most review sights like popular mechanics, Bob Villa best picks etc, mainly picking Stoves made in the USA and definitely what hearth forum talkers would consider cheaper not as well made stoves in there picks. I Don't think any of them actually tested there picks, there biased options aren't worth a dam in my opinion, picking what they believe are the best burners for the bang

I'm new to whole wood heating thing and ending buying on price alone bought a cheaper Vogelzang from a retail store. Had the flu professionally installed. The unit was supposed to heat 1200 sq ft and run for 6 hrs per load. 2 yrs of stuffing it every 2 hrs and not getting enough heat I was talked into the 2400 regency by a friend who owned free energy in Mars PA, now it was twice as much as I wanted to spend but my gut feeling was I'd be happy, 3 yrs later and after selling the old one my wife and I couldn't be happier, I keep 2 plus yrs of wood on hand believe me dry wood is the root to happiness 6 to 8 hr burns on dry oak or locust .happy wife happy life

Bought this in 2018 to replace my old squire insert which had been converted to the free-standing unit it served us well for 20 years just got tired of feeding it every 2 hrs. Installed the Regency f 3100 in January and was surprised its blower was weak compared to my old I welded the rear air deflector to the bottom of the air mate cut a hole in the back of the air mate set a second squirrel cage fan on the new shelf it now blows air between the top of the stove and the air mate. It went from barely heating our 2100 SF to cooking us out if not careful. Happy with temps and 6 to 10 hr loads

Using well-cured hardwood the heat output to be blunt bites. Wish we had never purchased it. It still looks good in the summer, When it isn't being used.
