Paid over 3500 dollars for this us stove and within 3 months it had fell apart, the electric damper caught on fire and burned up, the pipes on the inside fell out, the door warped, I will never buy another
"Wont draw. Chimney is 7 feet over the roof"
Newmac Ns-220e wood stove not worth a fuck I call dave in Nova Scotia. He was an asshole telling me I'm lighting the fire the wrong way. Cost me almost $1000 for the wood stove. I got to unhook it and buy something different
Heats very well and buns wood conservatively for its somewhat simple design. I have it in my garage workshop on a cement floor. That is where I think it's the most suitable. My only complaint is the design of the door handle. The handle spring & handle should be one piece and turn more conveniently. Otherwise, the stove is very well built and I recommend it for garages, worships, & cabins.
"Very nice stove for the money"
I purchased this stove in 2011 when I built my Cabin in Upstate, NY. It has functioned very well though I only use it 3-4 months of the year. The stove works fine gives a nice even heat, and functions well. The only issues are the fan seems to struggle a little on low settings and the metal that surrounds the glass window seems a little warped. Neither are show stoppers. I do like the stove.
"The grates burn out in less than 1 season"
The grate burns out in less than 1 season. I'm on my third.
